An Irish journey

Deep roots in County Kerry

"When the large envelope from Glenmurray Genealogy came in the mail I placed it on the table, almost afraid to open it.  More than a few relatives on my father's side had attempted to trace the family roots, including myself and several first cousins.  None of us were able to go much beyond our grandparents.  My paternal grandparents passed away when I was young and I have no recall of them ever discussing their past or how and why they came to the States from Ireland, let alone details of their childhood and beyond.

I never dared imagine that anyone could have done what I found inside that envelope!  Ann found my family going back 6 generations with full documentation.  She included copies of every  document and each had an explanation of what I was looking at and how it was found.  Along the way she found several attempts at the same family tree that had unsupported inconsistencies and errors.  Her attention to detail was amazing!

Ann not only gave me the dates, names and supporting documentation, she also fleshed out my family with the history of the time, land and people!  I could almost see their daily lives, hear them talking and going about their chores, feel their sorrow over the loss of loved ones.  She brought my ancestors alive for me."
